Our Services

Lumen O&P brings pediatric orthotic care to you.
Lumen is a versatile mobile orthotic practice that can service the needs of your child in the location of your choice.
This will save you the hassle of multiple medical appointments. Lumen provides home health care solutions,
as well as on site care for your child. By appointment and permission from your health care provider, Lumen will accompany you
and your child to other appointments to collaborate directly with your MD, PT or any other health professional
for a more holistic approach to the orthotic care of your child.

Orthotics

Orthotics can dramatically improve a patient’s quality of life by fostering independence and self-efficacy. Proper fit is critical to ensuring that patients are able to comfortably and effectively engage in the activities of daily living. Additionally, when an orthotic is custom designed to a patient’s body and needs, it will provide proper alignment and the patient will be more likely to wear it free from pain.

Lumen’s approach to orthotic design and delivery is centered on a patient-first approach. We take as much time as needed to ensure our patients are satisfied with quality and fit.

Prosthetics

Our prosthetist has more than 10 years of pediatric and adult prosthetic care experience. Lumen uses a variety of casting techniques, including Computer Aided Design (CAD) using white light scanning that details the residual limb down to the micrometer. This detail allows for optimal fit and function of the prosthetic limb.

to a variety of manufacturers to optimize custom lower extremity orthotic care for your child.

RGO Treatment Specialty

The Lumen team has more than 15 years of clinical expertise with Reciprocating Gait Orthoses (RGO).
The RGO is a custom-designed orthosis that addresses specific walking goals for children diagnosed with spinal cord injuries.
